Egypt&rsquo;s Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif, has announced the closure of all schools nationwide on Wednesday 25 March and Thursday 26 March 2026, due to expected unstable weather conditions.
The decision follows forecasts indicating that several governorates could be affected by severe weather starting Wednesday.

The nationwide closure will apply to students, teachers, and all school staff.
The Ministry said the measure is intended to protect students from potential risks linked to adverse weather, while also ensuring equal conditions for all students across the country.
